Hulobate

(HOO-loe-bate)  A noun, denoting any mysterious, reclusive person or being who lives in a forest or other sylvan setting.  Derived from the Greek word ὑλοβάτης, meaning “one who haunts the woods.”

It’s not enough to live in a forest, nor is it enough to be mysterious and reclusive; both traits must co-occur.
